The opportunity

We're currently looking for an intern to join our Operations team. Someone who shares our passion for electric mobility, thrives on problem-solving, and is eager to contribute to creating seamless processes for the delivery of Polestar cars. In this role, you’ll have the chance to engage with cutting-edge technology and collaborate in a fast-paced environment focused on sustainability and innovation.

As a member of the Operations team, you’ll help ensure that every Polestar vehicle reaches our customers flawlessly, with precision, efficiency, and dedication at the core of every process.

This 10-month internship position is located in Milan, Italy, with an initial requirement to work from the office. We believe in striking a balance between in-person collaboration and focused individual work, ensuring you have the time and support needed to excel.

The responsibilities

In this role, you'll be expected to contribute to key logistics activities and process optimisations. Working closely with the team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence. Here’s a snapshot of the tasks you’ll take on:

• Supporting the planning and monitoring of logistics activities related to the transportation and delivery of vehicles
• Assisting in managing the internal vehicle fleet, including bodywork repairs and auditing tasks
• Analyzing and reporting data on delivery times, operational performance, and logistics costs
• Communicating with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
• Contributing to the optimisation of vehicle delivery processes using dedicated software and tools

In order to succeed in this internship, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have: precision, attention to detail, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. You should be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and can communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Additionally, the following qualifications are essential:

• A Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• A good command of English and Italian, both written and spoken
