The opportunity
We’re currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team in Norway and strengthen Polestar’s brand presence and customer engagement across digital and social channels. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed towards a more sustainable future.
You’ll be part of a dynamic team supporting Polestar’s marketing activities locally, ensuring our brand visibility and customer communication are aligned with global strategies while tailored for the Norwegian market.
This is a full‑time, permanent role based in Oslo, Norway, with a hybrid work model that combines remote flexibility and onsite collaboration. Occasional travel may be required for local activations and events. We aim to hire as soon as possible.
The responsibilities
In this role, you'll manage and optimize digital and social channels, ensuring relevant, engaging, and high-performing content. You’ll work closely with local and global teams to drive customer communication and support brand activities across Norway.
Your key responsibilities include:
Plan, create, adapt, and publish content across owned channels such as the website, social media, newsletters, CRM, and community platforms.
Manage and grow Polestar’s community by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful dialogue.
Monitor, analyze, and report on content and community performance using metrics such as engagement, reach, growth, and sentiment.
Ensure all content aligns with Polestar’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with local and global teams to localize global content and campaigns for the Norwegian market.
Support product launches, campaigns, and activations with relevant content formats, including copy, visuals, and video briefs.
Coordinate content calendars with NGA partners and secure timely delivery across channels.
Work closely with CRM, CX, and Marketing teams to support customer journeys with relevant and engaging content.
Continuously optimize content strategies based on performance insights, audience behaviour, and emerging trends.
Support collaboration with agencies, content creators, and platform partners when relevant.
Plan and host community activations in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team and partners.
The ideal candidate
To succeed in this role, you’ll need tenacity, flexibility, and curiosity. You take initiative, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as you’ll work closely with both local and global teams.
You’ll also bring:
A degree in marketing, communications, journalism, media, or a similar field.
1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media, community management, or digital marketing.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for different digital platforms.
Experience with CMS platforms, social media management tools, email marketing, and basic CRM systems.
Understanding of community management, moderation, and customer engagement best practices.
Good analytical skills and familiarity with content and social performance metrics.
Strong attention to detail, with a structured and organized way of working.
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
