Regional Sales Manager | Norway
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Global Sales team in Norway. In this role, you’ll hold overall responsibility for leading, supporting, and enabling NGA Partners and Sales Directors within the region to deliver outstanding customer experiences and meet defined sales targets. Acting as a senior regional leader, you’ll ensure partners’ commercial performance and drive strategic execution across the network.
This position is based at Polestar Norway HQ, Fornebu and includes travelling around Norway. Expect a dynamic environment where collaboration and strategic thinking are key.
The responsibilities
As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll be accountable for driving sales performance and building strong relationships across the network. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise, guide, and assist Regional NGA Partners to achieve success and meet sales targets.
- Set clear goals and expectations for Sales Directors and Space Managers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback based on KPIs.
- Act as the central contact for partners across all business areas, including Customer Journey, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience.
- Contribute strategically to sales campaign planning and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales Norway on strategy implementation.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics.
- Build strong regional stakeholder relationships.
- Provide coaching and training to Space Managers and Sales Directors.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
The ideal candidate
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and inspire teams. You should be comfortable managing complex issues and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
In addition, you’ll need the following qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client-facing retail environment.
- Leadership and people management experience (2+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the Norwegian market and customer preferences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
