Events & Communication Manager – Maternity Cover

Your Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Events & Communication Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Polestar’s national marketing events and activities, while supervising local initiatives managed by local partners. The role covers events, retail marketing, and media initiatives. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, in particular the local Marketing Managers, to ensure brand consistency and operational excellence across national and local activations.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Brand Experience
· Plan and execute national consumer, fleet, and PR events
· Supervise local partner event initiatives (e.g., showroom openings)
· Supervise and coordinate the event agency to ensure seamless execution and brand coherence
Retail Marketing
· Oversee local marketing plans and activities together with the local Marketing Managers, ensuring full alignment across events and media campaigns
· Act as a key connector by organizing regular meetings with local partners to review marketing plans, conduct quarterly performance reviews, and hold bi-weekly check-ins (online or on-site).
· Develop and distribute commercial campaign toolkits to support local implementation, ensuring alignment with national communication and marketing strategies
Media & Communication
· Support national media activities for the implementation of lead generation campaigns that directly impact local partner performance
Budget Management
· Provide support in managing and tracking the marketing budget
Tools & Platforms
· Manage and utilize tools such as Test Drive Portal, Space Portal, Visitor Moment, Power BI, Salesforce, and Swoogo.
Your Profile
· 4–6 years of experience in event and retail marketing, ideally in automotive or premium/luxury sectors
· Strong project management and organizational skills
· Extreme attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Native-level Italian (must) and fluent English to communicate and collaborate regularly with HQ
Work Arrangement
· 12-month maternity cover, ideally starting 15 December
· Occasional travel to local partners for meetings or site visits
· Remote working possible two days per week.
