Senior Regional Operations Manager
As a Senior Regional Operations Manager you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue, sales, customer service and customer experience goals within your market.

As a Senior Regional Operations Manager you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue, sales, customer service and customer experience goals within your market. You will own and foster a collaborative working relationship with the retailer network that results in win-win solutions to business challenges and maximizes opportunities within the market. You will be responsible for implementing processes and solutions to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty amongst our Polestar Spaces and Service Points (retail network). This role will be accountable for all facets of the retail business to ensure a premium CX journey from order intake to aftercare. You will also be responsible to support local marketing activities.
What you’ll do
- Achieve set KPIs in line with business initiatives for your assigned region including wholesale, retail sales, NPS and marketing objectives.
- Utilize the most efficient communication channels to provide information to the Polestar retailer network on programs, initiatives, and campaigns.
- Develop sales strategies and initiatives that drive growth within your region.
- Be the primary point of contact for the retailer network for sales, service and marketing related topics
- Manage the profit levers and sales KPIs of an automotive retailer.
- Lead the business planning process with retailer partners to grown and improve sales processes, grow market share and foster brand loyalty.
- Ensure initiatives, resources and timing are aligned to the overall corporate business goals.
- Monitor sales performance, customer experience and satisfaction within your region seeking areas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with department stakeholders to ensure alignment of new and proposed sales initiatives.
This is a field-based position that requires significant travel throughout the United States and is preferable for you to live closely to an airport.
You and your skills
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
- 8+ years of experience working a retail/wholesale role.
- Automotive industry experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proven experience managing sales targets and goal setting in a wholesale/retail environment.
- Experience in the Electric Vehicle industry and the needs of a premium customer within a retail environment, the key satisfaction, and sales drivers in a premium retail industry.
- Prior experience managing relationships with third party stakeholders (preferably automotive retailers)
- Strong knowledge of Dealer Franchise Legislation.
- Hands on experience delivering training and individual coaching to retail teams.
- Ability to think strategically, work tactically, with strong project management skills and present to C level executive teams and retailer principals alike.
- Drive and determination to work in an evolving, ever-changing environment.
