We're currently looking for a Commercial Operation & Administrative Support. Someone to join our Commercial Operations team to deliver sophisticated operation management skills. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesn't mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.
This position is located at Polestar Automotive Korea office in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
What you'll do
This position will start with a 1-year fixed term contract. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting commercial operational tasks including HR related administration and company car management. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
- Support and solve overall commercial operational tasks, including Order-to-delivery and customer purchase journey support.
- Provide HR administrative support and general affair related tasks.
- Manage and control company car registration and schedule.
- Support EV subsidy application process.
- Ensure each step of customer purchase journey to progress flawlessly.
- Support commerce related customer care service.
Who you are
In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible.
We seek a highly competent team player with solid experience from the sales planning and vehicle distribution field and with an excellent understanding of end to end supply chain. You can handle multiple tasks, maintain focus and adapt easily to changing business needs. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent
- Knowledge of logistics, trading and accounting is preferred
- Minimum 0.5-1 year experience in the automotive field or related is preferred
- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal relations as well as effective communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Written and verbal English skills are preferred
