Internship | Retail Network | Sales
The opportunity
We're currently looking for an Intern. Someone to join our Retail Network team in order to manage and grow Polestar’s retail network in Germany. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesn't mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.
This position is located at our Cologne office requiring a minimum of three days per week. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
In this role, you'll be expected to support the sales team. Working as a member of the Retail Network team you'll be instrumental in delivering Polestar’s network strategy and sales growth. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the extended network development of Polestar Germany
- Establish and ensure retail standards and operational guidelines across all Polestar locations
- Creation and development of KPI reporting
- Provide market and competitive analysis
- Preparation of presentations with direct visibility to the Polestar Germany leadership team
- Possible sub-projects in the area of CRM (Salesforce etc.)
The ideal candidate
In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible.

In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
- Fluent in German & English (min. C1 written and spoken), main communication will be in German
- Driver’s license (Klasse B)
- MS Office (Excel, PPT, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience in Salesforce / CRM systems is a plus
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme for the entire duration of the internship (ideally 3rd semester or later for Bachelor's)
- Business, finance and/or automotive studies as a basis desired
- Ideally 1 or 2 previous internships. However, not having completed an internship is not disqualifying.
