POD Specialist

Your future responsibilities will be a supportive role in coordinating the sales planning process and managing customer orders and changes.
What you will do
The key responsibilities of this role sit within the Business Operations Department. You will be supporting the Planning, Ordering and Delivery Process for Polestar Austria. You will control and monitor the logistics processes between our Austrian logistics partner and the handover locations. In this role, you will work closely with the Order-to-Delivery Manager, Customer Engagement Center and Sales Team on planning, forecasting, reporting and activities related to the sales mix and its volume.
Other tasks you will be accountable for:
- Planning and monitoring of vehicle logistics flows, deliveries and handover processes
- Troubleshooting in logistics, distribution and delivery processes and derivation of possibilities for enhancement
- Provision of frequent reporting and analytics regarding order, distribution and delivery statuses for market management and relevant HQ stakeholders
- Provision of order information to customer service upon request
- Evaluation of relevant metrics and analysis to ensure continuous improvement as well as escalation of critical cases to operations management
- Management and allocation of vehicles within logistics and distribution system
Who you are
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of logistics & planning in the automotive area. You have strong ability to effectively communicate at different levels and excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Proven skills to work well organized, structured and detail-oriented are of high importance for this role as well as good analytical and problem-solving skills. You can work efficiently both independently and as a team player in a cooperative way.
You also have the following:
- Degree in business administration, logistics or a related discipline is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Practical experience in a similar position is a plus
- Mindset for continuous improvement
- High customer service orientation
- Fluency in German and English, both verbally and written skills, other languages are meritorious.
