Internal ISO Auditor
The opportunity

We are currently looking for you who are ready to take on this exciting role to accelerate Polestars quality and sustainability work through the ISO frameworks of quality and sustainability (ISO9001&14001) as the global internal auditor at Polestar.
Polestar aim for the stars with the goal of a climate-neutral car in 2030 as part of our sustainable future. To improve and control how we work at Polestar, we have several ISO standards to comply with. This is where we want your contribution to make sure that Polestar projects are qualitatively aligned with our sustainability-thinking and our goals.
This position is located at Polestar HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed.
What you’ll do
To comply to requirements and improve how we work at Polestar, you will be responsible to lead, drive, and improve ISO and Audit performance as part of our Business Assurance team, which is responsible for validating the Polestar business to ensure our company's operations adhere to international business standard. In this role, you will be the responsible owner of process and procedures connected to internal & external ISO9001/14001 audits, as well as renewal and updates of connected training/communication related material.
Various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
- Promote the management systems as an integrated part of the daily business.
- Be a point of contact for external ISO- certification body. To plan, guide during the execution and follow up the annual ISO- audits.
- Conduct, document and follow up internal audits, globally.
- Work together with other internal auditors in Polestar to ensure we have an effective and aligned way of working with audits.
- Monthly status report from the handling of internal and external audits non- conformities.
- Provide onboarding and training for relevant Polestar employees.
Who You Are

In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
- Accredited personal certified Lead ISO Auditor or corresponding experience.
- Expert level in lead auditing ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
- Documented work experience in above standards and audits.
- Documented work experience in HSE- law compliance, internal and external requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills, proven experience writing high level reports in English
- Solid work experience in the automotive process development E2E business (whole value chain) is meritorious.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, ISO 24089 and ISO 21434, ISO 17025, ISO 27001, and an understanding of UN ECE R155/R156 is meritorious.
