Aftersales Specialist | (DE / AT)
The Opportunity
We’re currently looking for a Commercial Aftersales Specialist. Join us and help shape the commercial aftersales landscape of a next-generation automotive company — from the ground up. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a drive to create seamless and high-quality customer experiences beyond the point of sale.
In this role, you will take ownership of shaping and optimizing the commercial aftersales business across the region — from product portfolio and pricing to performance management and stakeholder alignment. You will operate at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational execution, ensuring that our aftersales offering is both competitive and scalable.
You will also be responsible for steering and developing the German service partner network. Acting as the central point of contact for all service partners in this market, you will ensure alignment, performance, and continuous improvement across the network. In close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will build strong relationships and ensure that our partners are fully equipped to deliver a premium and consistent Polestar experience.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving and optimizing our commercial aftersales performance across Central Europe. Your focus lies in ensuring that our product offering, pricing, and operational setup are aligned to deliver sustainable growth and an outstanding customer experience.
Working as a member of Customer Experience, you’ll act as the central interface between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring a seamless and high-quality aftersales journey.
See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you’ll be responsible for:
Own and manage the Parts, Extras & Services product portfolio across Central Europe, defining market-specific offerings
Develop and execute pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize profitability and revenue growth
Monitor and improve turnover, margins, and overall aftersales performance
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners (e.g. Volvo Cars, leasing companies, service partners) to increase product sales
Track demand, inventory, and availability; coordinate with logistics teams and NSCs to ensure optimal stock levels
Act as the central contact for all aftersales-related commercial topics (Parts, Extras, Services), handling daily operations, escalations, and cross-functional coordination
Drive customer satisfaction improvements, with a focus on OSAT performance in Germany
Maintain and administer key systems (Service Partner Portal, POMS, Salesforce, Workday)
Build strong relationships with the German service network and conduct regular performance (PSP) visits at key partners
Support onboarding/offboarding and development of the Polestar service network in Germany
Ensure compliance with End-of-Life (EoL) legal requirements
Serve as escalation point for Customer Support teams, ensuring consistent and accurate communication to customer-facing functions
Foster strong, trust-based relationships with all stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you’ll need to have: ownership, commercial curiosity, and a strong drive to create impact. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, where priorities can shift and structures are continuously developing.
You bring a strong commercial mindset combined with a hands-on approach, allowing you to translate business objectives into tangible results. You are analytical and data-driven, yet pragmatic in execution, and able to navigate complexity with clarity and focus. Your ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders — from internal teams to external partners — is key to your success.
You are proactive, solution-oriented, and not afraid to challenge the status quo where needed. At the same time, you maintain a high level of attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability for the topics you own.
In Addition, You'll Need The Following Qualifications
Experience in automotive aftersales, parts business, or service operations is highly desirable
Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP platforms
Understanding of logistics, inventory planning, and supply chain coordination
Knowledge of the German automotive service landscape is a strong advantage
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g. French) are a plus
Awareness of regulatory requirements (e.g. End-of-Life compliance) is beneficial
The process
If the above matches your ambitions, be sure to apply. Our selection process is ongoing, and the position will remain open until it’s filled.
