Regional Sales Manager | UK North
Drive Polestar’s growth in the UK North. Lead regional sales, elevate partner performance, and shape the future of electric mobility with us.
The opportunity
We're currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager. Someone to join our UK Commercial team and take ownership of driving sales growth, strengthening partner performance, and ensuring exceptional brand representation across the North of the UK. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. And someone who doesn’t mind the occasional bit of sustainable travel in the service of a cleaner form of electric performance.
In this role, you’ll be part of a fast‑moving and strategically important commercial organisation, working closely with Polestar Spaces, retail investor partners, and cross‑functional teams to shape our regional sales success.
This position is field‑based within the North of the UK, with a high level of travel required. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in‑person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
In this role, you'll be expected to lead regional sales strategy and execution to achieve commercial targets and strengthen Polestar’s presence in the UK North. Working as a member of the UK Commercial team, you'll be instrumental in optimising partner performance, elevating customer and retailer satisfaction, and developing data‑driven sales strategies that accelerate business growth.
See below for a breakdown of key focus areas:
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to grow market share and meet commercial targets.
Build strong relationships with Polestar Spaces and retail investor partners, ensuring consistent brand delivery and operational excellence.
Analyse key financial metrics and market performance to guide investor confidence and improve retailer profitability.
Drive customer (CSAT) and space satisfaction (OSAT) through continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee CRM and Salesforce usage to strengthen pipeline management and data‑driven decision‑making.
The ideal candidate
To succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, you’ll need a combination of tenacity, flexibility, and curiosity. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, take initiative, and know how to adapt when priorities shift. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across stakeholders will be essential.
You balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and thrive when steering multiple priorities with clarity and focus.
In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
5+ years of automotive sales management experience, ideally within premium or EV brands, to confidently lead retailer performance and strategic sales initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field to support informed commercial decision‑making.
Strong understanding of the EV market to navigate customer preferences and industry trends.
Proficiency with CRM and data‑analysis tools such as Salesforce and Power BI to drive forecasting and performance optimisation.
Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills, including experience influencing at senior stakeholder or C‑suite level, crucial for investor management and commercial alignment.
