Within a challenging and fast changing environment, we are now looking for a Handover Specialist to join the Polestar Belgium Team.

Let us describe the challenge we offer

As Handover Specialist, you will play a key role in obtaining one of our most important targets.

Your main objective is to deliver our vehicles to our customers within the correct time frame. This time frame considers both the needs of our customers and our commercial targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

You maintain a strong relationship with our external partners (spaces) who are responsible for delivering the cars. You are their first point of contact regarding handovers, but you also guide them in achieving their targets.

Finally, you also regularly take a step back from day-to-day operations by thinking about possible process optimizations and integrating them into retail standards.

What you’ll do

The core responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all cars within the Belgian market are delivered on time and in a Polestar way
• Ensure close collaboration with your logistics partners
• Planning and overseeing sales requirements for the Belgian market and ensure a strong forecast accuracy.
• Troubleshooting any problems within the OTD (Order To Delivery) journey and escalating where necessary.
• Closely follow and monitor the handover targets with the handover centers, ensuring the targets are met in respect of the Polestar handover standards and processes
• Accompany and support our Planning, Ordering & Delivery Manager in implementing the needed process and system improvements
  
  

You and your skills

We are currently looking for someone with following characteristics: 

• You have ideally a strong understanding and interest of the automotive and fleet business, with the ability to navigate and communicate effectively within the sector.
• We’re looking for a sales-driven mindset together with supply chain knowledge – you are results-oriented and driven to go the extra mile to achieve targets.
• You connect easily with different stakeholders and can motivate and guide others towards results.
• You have excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English, French is an asset.
• You can rely on 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
