Revenue & Margin Controller
We’re looking for a motivated, analytical, and hands-on new team member to join Polestar’s Controlling team as a Revenue & Margin Controller. If you're driven by performance, thrive on turning data into insights, and want to help shape the financial backbone of a fast-growing electric mobility brand — this could be your next step.
The opportunity
You’ll be part of a collaborative Sales and Marketing Controlling team in Finance department. The role is based at our Global Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. We embrace a hybrid working model, recognizing the value of both in-person collaboration and focused remote work. What matters most is having the time, tools, and trust to get things done — and to enjoy doing them.
The responsibilities
In this role, you’ll support Polestar’s financial reporting and consolidation within commercial operations, combining market and corporate controlling. You’ll be instrumental in driving performance analysis, developing tools, and supporting the transformation of financial processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with finance teams to organize reporting processes and schedules.
- Evaluate commercial performance against targets using KPIs and financial metrics.
- Conduct detailed profitability analyses and provide proactive insights for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reporting templates and dashboards aligned with business priorities.
- Ensure forecasts are aligned with business objectives using historical data and predictive models.
- Support the transformation toward decentralized market accountability.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform additional financial analysis as needed.
The ideal candidate
To thrive in this role (and at Polestar), you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You’re comfortable navigating complex data, translating insights into action, and collaborating across functions and cultures.
We believe you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in performance analysis or controlling.
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
- Proven ability to communicate financial insights and make business recommendations.
- Experience working with data models and BI tools (a must).
- Proficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control.
- A holistic view and the ability to draw conclusions from complex information.
- Interest in automating processes and improving productivity.
