The Responsibilities

As the Trade & Receivables Manager, you will be responsible for managing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing trade finance and receivables finance solutions across Polestar's global and regional operations. Acting as a central point of expertise, you’ll ensure our working capital finance strategies align with evolving business needs and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Global Trade Finance Strategy: Manage and develop trade finance and receivables finance solutions in collaboration with regional and market teams.
• Strategic Alignment: Work with leadership to establish, revise, and implement objectives based on business evolution and market changes.
• Performance Oversight: Guide markets to meet strategic objectives, monitor performance, and ensure consistency across regions.
• Data-Driven Insights: Design KPIs, performance metrics, and dashboards to track and improve financial performance while ensuring data quality.
• Expert Guidance: Act as the go-to expert for trade and receivables finance, providing insights and solutions to stakeholders.

Skills & Expertise:

• Proven experience in management consulting, banking, or automotive finance, with expertise in trade finance and receivables finance solutions.
• Ideal to bring solid accounting as well as financial process understanding and prior experience
• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, global/local regulations, and accounting standards.
• Business acumen to prepare financial guidance and business cases that drive decision-making.
• Ability to coordinate and execute tasks involving multiple stakeholders across regions.
