Commercial Intelligence Manager | Commercial Strategy
The opportunity
We are currently looking for a Commercial Intelligence Manager to join our newly formed Commercial Strategy team.
As a Commercial Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing performance measurement and analytics efforts across the commercial organization. Also serve as the bridge between data, analysis, strategy, and execution, ensuring that all teams within the sales funnel operate efficiently and are aligned with business objectives. Additionally focusing on establishing, monitoring, and refining KPIs to ensure alignment on goals and consistency in performance tracking while delivering actionable insights to support decision-making and drive growth.
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, this hybrid role offers flexibility while maintaining the value of in-person collaboration for innovative problem-solving.
The responsibilities
As a Commercial Intelligence Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with commercial management and stakeholders to align data and analytics with strategic goals.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring that analytics tools and processes meet organizational needs.
- Align performance measurement frameworks and analytic efforts across different teams for uniformity and accountability.
- Analyze data from diverse teams and translate data into actionable insights
- Lead initiatives to optimize the sales funnel, identify high-impact opportunities, and address inefficiencies.
- Identify gaps in data collection or analysis processes and implement solutions.
- Drive a performance-oriented culture, encouraging teams to embrace KPIs and analytics as integral parts of their roles.
The ideal candidate
The role demands a mix of technical expertise and strategic thinking. Key qualifications include:
- Excellent business acumen with an understanding of the automotive sales funnel.
- Proven experience working with sales teams to develop KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance benchmarks.
- Skilled analyst and proficient in collecting, interpreting, and presenting complex data.
- Strong ability to extract and communicate meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in data, analytics and visualization tools.
- Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
