The opportunity 

We’re seeking a Market Intelligence Manager to join our Commercial Strategy team. This critical role is dedicated to analyzing Polestar’s competitive landscape and market dynamics to uncover strategic opportunities, assess risks, and guide decision-making in our rapidly evolving industry. The responsibilities 

In this role, you will: 

• Analyze competitor strategies, macroeconomic shifts, and geopolitical trends to inform Polestar’s market positioning. 
• Provide accurate EV market and share forecasts to guide commercial strategic initiatives and volume planning. 
• Develop actionable recommendations for growth and risk mitigation based on comprehensive market intelligence. 
• Serve as the central data hub, ensuring stakeholders have access to unified, reliable market insights. 
• Actively support the development of commercial strategies, ensuring alignment with market realities. 

The ideal candidate 

Success in this role requires a blend of analytical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to distill complex data into clear insights. Key qualifications include: 

• Degree in Economics from a leading university or equivalent experience. 
• Proven proficiency in market data aggregation, visualization, and trend analysis. 
• Expertise in leveraging macroeconomic, geopolitical, and industry data to craft actionable insights. 
• Strong ability to present in a clear and impactful manner to various audiences, including executive management. 
• Experience working in or with the vehicle manufacturing industry is preferred.
