Senior Software Engineer - Digital Key
The opportunity
We're currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop Digital Key systems. This role works within our Remote Features Software team. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed.
The Remote Features team works on developing and integrating cloud and embedded telematics solutions to enhance vehicle connectivity. Key initiatives include developing digital key systems, supporting over-the-air (OTA) updates and improving backend infrastructure.
This position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
This role involves handling Digital Key software engineering, ensuring CCC standard competence, and collaborating with suppliers and partners. Key responsibilities include meeting project timelines for major tech companies and supporting legacy and CCC DK solutions, requiring skills in Digital Key implementation, technical leadership, and connectivity integration.

- Software Engineering of Digital Key and related technologies
- Technical competence of CCC standard to enable in-house competence.
- Interaction with HW & SW Suppliers
- Interaction with collaboration partners within the Geely Group
- Interaction with PKI suppliers to establish trust chains, certificate lifetimes, etc.
- Engagement with Polestar Digital
- Cybersecurity analysis together with the Polestar CS teams.
- Connectivity: Ensure integration of connectivity solutions within the DK framework.

In addition, you'll need the following skills/experience:
- Experience in Embedded Software Development
- Technical experience of Digital Key implementation within automotive
- Knowledge of software and automotive architectures
- Experience with Connectivity and Telematics integration
- Cybersecurity knowledge
