Global Fleet Operations Support
Join the Global Fleet team, which is responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of the fleet sales strategy. This is a fixed term position for one year, covering parental leave.
The opportunity
Join the Global Fleet team, which is responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of the fleet sales strategy, currently over 50% of our global sales. We are responsible for ensuring all head office activities are optimized for the fleet business sales channels. The team also supports the market management to define and drive their fleet sales activity through information, events, marketing and competence. Global Fleet Operations are specifically responsible for design and delivery of the process and systems to deliver the fleet sales across the globe.
This position is located at Polestar headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed.
This position is for fixed term of one year, covering parental leave.
The responsibilities
As a member of the Global Fleet Operations team, you will provide support to the Global Fleet team as well as colleagues in our markets to optimize the current established sales processes. All activity is designed to support the ongoing establishment of Polestar as the brand of choice.
The role is divided into two primary areas of responsibility:
Fleet Operational Support
- Proactive communication with markets to understand and address daily operational needs.
- Identifying potential improvements in our systems and processes and collaborating with project managers to translate ideas into actionable projects.
- Handling queries from markets via the Service Desk and coordinating across teams to ensure timely resolutions.
- Executing the signing process of agreements in DocuSign and ensuring compliance through reporting.
- Assisting with accruals, bonus payouts, and conducting audit controls.
Fleet Marketing, Events and Communications
- Acting as the primary point of contact for fleet operations ensuring updates and changes to marketing assets and brochures are performed timely.
- Collaborating with internal and external event management teams to plan and execute events including event coordination, developing agendas, arranging suppliers, creating and distributing invites and organizing travel and logistics for attendees.
- Providing briefs to the marketing team for the fleet newsletters, advertorials, and ads.
- Creating and executing internal and external newsletters.
The ideal candidate
In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible.
In addition, we believe you have:
- Minimum bachelor's degree.
- Excellent IT skills, including Office 365.
- High levels of attention to detail, particularly with respect to error checking and accuracy with numbers.
Desirable:
- Experience in using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience in events/ conference organization and management.
