We now have an exciting opening at Polestar within the Business Office. You will be part of a fast-paced and challenging scale-up organization and play an important role in the Business Office team supporting Polestar in its growth and expansion. In this new role, you are a member of a dynamic and developing team. This role is key to further developing the Business Office function at Polestar group.


What you'll do

You will be part of the Business Office team within Finance where you will get the opportunity to work with a large variety of projects contributing to strategic Polestar projects. You will work mainly with transactions with related parties and other projects for the Polestar group. You will work cross-functional driving different projects and agreement negotiations as well as being the speaking partner towards business partners as well as the Polestar organization in related questions.You will be placed in Gothenburg and report directly to the head of Business Office.

Examples of tasks are:

• Represent Business Office in different projects, within the industrial and commercial part of the business, to secure business rational as well as different financial aspects

• Project management, negotiations and participating in drafting of agreement

• Work closely with business operations within Program management, R&D, Manufacturing, Digital and Sales as well as the legal and finance teams

• Collect data, drive analysis and provide alternatives and solutions

• Be the go-to person for questions related to related party transaction and support within both the daily operations as well as strategic projects

• Support in different cross functional initiatives

• Ensure alignment with global tax processes and directives

• Become a member that will actively contribute to set up and develop Polestar

Who you are

To be successful in this role we think that you are a person with lots of energy, interested in learning new things, strong analytical skills and a problem-solver with business acumen. You are a team player with the ability to propose, drive and implement solutions. You have a high level of accountability and commitment and can work independently both as part of projects as well as working hands on in daily operations. You can handle and prioritize in a high workload. You will have a dialogue with both internal and external contacts, so you need to be a relationship builder.

Other important skills for this role:

• University degree in Law, Finance or Engineering

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience from positions relevant for the position, for example working as an auditor, transfer pricing specialist, project leader, purchaser

• Strong business acumen and integrity

• Experience from negotiations of agreements is a merit

• Knowledge of accounting and tax is a merit

• Experience form working with industrial projects is a merit

• Ability to plan, coordinate and execute work with many different stakeholders involved with the ability to explain complex matters in a simple way
